I originally started drawing as a way of dealing with my mother committing suicide some years ago. It helped me escape from the world when I needed it the most, creating my own worlds with my own rules and realities instead. So you could say I use it as a sort of escapism. I've continued working on it since, and I really feel great accomplishment in improving my skills (the larger numbers in the titles are the newer pictures). I really feel my art shows how I think, and that is what I've primarily learnt about doing this. So all these artworks I've created show me how I can achieve something. It also shows me a personal journey catalysed by great tragedy, and thusly, my art is very personal to me.
I don't draw inspiration from other artists in particular, although I have a very broad taste. You might say living life in a heavily screen-influenced and digital world might be the biggest inspiration for me.
I like to use POSCA pens, BiC M10 clic pens, and hard-paper drawing blocks.
